Core System (always on)
Bounty Board (/bountyboard) — live board showing all active bounties, rewards, and time remaining.
Placing — set cash/gold bounties on other players. 5% posting fee, no self-bounties, caps on per-player and total active bounties.
Claiming — kill or subdue the target within 10m. Claimer gets 90% of the pot in cash, gold, or items.
Cancelling — placers can pull their own bounty for a 50% refund.
Wanted Blips — bounty targets get a map blip on all clients, refreshed every 15 seconds.
Wanted Level — total bounty value drives a 0–5 star native wanted level (thresholds configurable).
Auto-Expiry — bounties older than 72 hours are cleaned up automatically.
Optional Features (all disabled by default)
Dead or Alive — hunters must physically deliver the target to a sheriff NPC. Alive (hogtied) pays a 1.5× bonus.
Murder Witness NPC — a witness spawns at PvP kill sites. Law/bounty jobs can talk to them for a rough area blip and an auto-bounty fires on the killer.
Ambient Witnesses — 2–4 bystander NPCs scatter near the kill site giving directional hints to any nearby player.
Job Restriction — only whitelisted jobs can claim bounties.
Bounty Certificate — players must buy a licence from an NPC before claiming. Permanent or consumable per claim.
Law Alerts — law officers get pinged on every new bounty and can use /setbounty to place one on the nearest player.
Random Bounty — server auto-targets random player(s) on a timer with a server-wide announcement. Auto-expires after the hunt window.
Victim Bounty — dead players type /bounty to trigger an investigation NPC, law alert, or both, and post a reward on their killer.
